Hogs Gone Wild - From Idea to Action - 09-09-09

Hogs Gone Wild was merely an idea in 2009. A notion of taking a bad thing and turning it into something good! After running tons of “What If” scenarios, the organization started to take shape. The first step was to select a name and find a domain. Hogs Gone Wild was selected on 09-09-09 and the domain name www.hogsgonewild.org was registered. We were off and moving forward !!!

At this point we contacted Mike Price AKA ‘Design King” to design the two logos we have today. Mike nailed it the first time and we had business cards printed. We discussed with our Attorney Joseph G. Gere all the options of how to set up a Non-Profit Corporation and how to file for 501C3 tax exempt status. We then went to work on our T-Shirts with our “Hog Sayings” on the back. That was pretty much it for 2009 because most of this was happening during deer season. While sitting waiting on the deer to appear, the HGW ground work was formulated. Hogs Gone Wild was on its way !!!
